A company can be seen as a network of bricks, clicks, people, concepts and values, a country can be seen as people, government, water, raw materials and borders, our universe as everything. It belongs together. In one state of mind (for example A) you think of it as a network you belong to and in another state of mind (for example B) you do not belong to the network. When two different people have the same state of mind (for example state A or state B), people interact with each other as if they belong together and see every action and interaction as something that influences the other and therefor will influence themselves. When two different people have different states of mind (A & B), then the network could get out of balance. For example, the action I take (A) has seemingly no effect on the other and therefor the other has no effect on myself. From the perspective of the other (B) this could be not true. For example when we take raw materials from one country and use it in our production systems and not take the people of that country in account, then those people might suffer for that loss, or do not benefit from what we gain. Sooner or later I think this imbalance will effect us. When this state of mind lasts to long, we could destroy our environment and therefor ourselves. When we shift our mind to the other state, we see the other as part of the network. This is the moment we try to 'fix' things. This would not have been necessary in the first place when we see ourselves and the other as part of the network. All actions would effect both the other and ourselves. When both people have neither A nor B as a state of mind it is hard to predict what will happen.
In an eco-system, everything is in balance. it is a self sustaining system containing living organisms and non living things. It is interesting to see that we have at least two different states of mind in our society. Every moment we do not have the same state of mind, I believe we organize imbalance. And I also believe that we have a built in repetitive double state mind shifter. The question is in what state of mind our network of everything will last and be in balance? I would say a mind that lasts and is in balance. Lasting balance it self would be the core concept of our mind. I think it would help to look at a network from different perspectives and to have a dialogue with others to see if you have the same state of mind.
Social Media in my opinion make it easier to look at things from different perspectives and have a dialogue. To be 'social' in my opinion is a good start for that 'one state of mind'. It bonds us, first in small networks, in large networks and next to everything.
